Details: 2002 Audi A4 Avant 1.8T quattro Up for sale is a very nice 2002 Audi A4 Avant 1.8T quattro. The car is Dolphin Gray Metallic exterior with gray leatherette interior. This car, offered for sale by an Audi enthusiast (ok, Audi nut), is a very good example of the marque. This car has been my daily driver for the last several years and has never let me down. It hasn´t required much effort on my part to keep it running beautifully. During the time I´ve owned it it´s always been garaged and has been cared for very well. People who ride in it are frequently surprised to find out how old it is because it looks and feels so new. This A4 is in good condition both inside and out, and offers a perfect mix of sportiness, luxury, safety, and economy. The car feels very new despite its age, helped particularly by the oustanding interior. Driving this car is a real pleasure. With its smooth, quiet ride, comfortable seats, and good power and handling, the A4 is the perfect car for your daily commute or for long road trips. With the hatch it´s very useful for carrying lots of stuff, and the car has a built-in molded rubber trunk liner to keep the cargo area tidy. It also comes with the standard carpeted floor if you prefer that look. The car is equipped with Eibach Pro-kit springs, which give the car an impressive stance without compromising ride quality (Eibach supplies the OE springs to Audi for many models, so they are well-tuned for the car). The car comes with 5-spoke 17´ wheels from a B7 Audi A4 with Continental tires. A full-size matching alloy spare is included. Other tasteful upgrades include blacked out front upper and lower grilles, subtle quattro window graphics, and B7 wood interior trim. The car has never had a front license plate so there is no unsightly bracket or mounting holes. A hardwired MP3 adapter has also been installed using the factory CD changer input. The car is also equipped with 034 Motorsport street density motor mounts which are solid elastomer, rather than the failure-prone fluid-filled original mounts. The solid mounts will last much longer and give slightly crisper throttle response. The car has been meticulously maintained and needs no work. All of the typical failures of the B6 Audi have been addressed in this car. All accessories work properly and the car has no known mechanical problems. A diagnostic scan of the engine shows no fault codes. The interior is essentially flawless. The exterior is in very good condition with the exception of a few scratches through the clearcoat which are not visible from a normal viewing distance, and could be removed by a good detailer. The wheels have some curb rash but none are bent. I´ve recently driven more than 1500 interstate miles on the car without a single hiccup. I would gladly drive the car anywhere in the country without hesitation. This is a fast car when driven properly, and with a sophisticated lightweight aluminum multi-link suspension and powerful four-wheel disc brakes, the car handles and stops with impressive quickness and precision. The 5-speed manual transmission has a strong clutch and is one of the smoothest and easiest manual transmissions to drive I´ve ever come across. The A4 is a great car in all weather conditions. With quattro full-time all-wheel-drive, the car handles great even on snow or ice. As somebody who has owned a number of quattro models, I can speak from experience and say that these cars are absolutely incredible in slippery conditions. With a decent set of tires they are practically unstoppable. With the cold weather package, not only is the car capable in the winter, it´s comfortable. Heated front and rear seats keep driver and passengers warm, heated mirrors and windshield washers make sure you can always see well, and heated door locks make it a snap to get in the car even if it´s icy out. With advanced safety features this would make a great car for a new driver. Standard ABS brakes, electronic stability control, and secure, intuitive all-wheel-drive handling stack the odds hugely in your favor of avoiding an accident, and the extremely strong body structure and plenty of airbags provide excellent occupant safety. Audis typically receive exemplary crash safety ratings and this model is no exception. Front and rear foglamps improve visibility and help other drivers see the car even in dense fog. The headlights also have automatic headlight washer jets hidden in the front bumper to aid visibility in bad weather. I´m very confident you can find an A4 for less money than I´m asking. I´m in no rush to sell the car and will not take low-ball offers. This car is priced taking into consideration its condition and the maintenance that is already performed that the new owner won´t have to worry about. The timing belt service is a key one. You´re better off buying my car that has 150k miles on it and has the service done than buying one with 120k that has that big service bill looming. Buying a really cheap Audi is a bad idea. Better to spend the money up front to get a car that´s been loved than buy a cheap one and have to spend money correcting all its faults. More photos are available here. Details: For Sale: Up for sale is my 2000 Audi TT Quattro. The reason i am selling the car is im looking for something different i just dont have a love for the car anymore.
