Details: I am selling my 2000 Audi A6 Twin-Turbo, It has been a good car for us! I sold it to a guy on payments,and before he paid it off, he got it hot and now it has a leak on the back side of the engine. I have not taken it to a mechanic, and I have no plan to. I am selling it AS IS, if an interested buyer wants to have it towed to a shop and back to my house, I will be willing to allow it. In my research I have found that there is an electric water pump on the back side under the manifold, It may also be a freeze plug ( a coin shaped piece of metal that is designed to break loose to prevent cracking of the engine block. But without a mechanic looking at it, I can not guarrantee what it is. Therefore I am selling it at as a great deal! The NADA guide lists it at $8250 for clean retail and $3400 at rough trade-in. The car has 110,562 miles on it. So somebody could invest the money to have it fixed and sell it for a profit. In the next few months I have some bills due, so I am motivated to sell it.
