Details: For sale is a Black with tan interior 2004 A4 1.8T Quattro AWD. It is a B6 body style to be specific. It has 114,xxx miles on it, mostly highway miles from driving between NJ and Boston. I never drive it in the city and rarely use it anymore since I have become a permanent Boston resident. I am selling the car to replace it with a motorcycle. The Pirelli all season tires are all in decent condition and includes a full size spare in the trunk. The car is great in the snow and rain. I replaced the front break pads and calipers 2000 miles ago as well as the oil and oil filter with Mobile 1 synthetic and the rear pads and calipers were replaced when I bought the car around 91,xxx miles. The timing belt was also replaced by the previous owner just before I purchased the car in September of 2010 (I have the receipt). The car´s ecu has also been upgraded with the APR 1+ package including the upgraded fuel injectors. It basically increases the level of boost but keeps it well within the limits of the car. For anyone that hasn´t driven a stock A4 1.8T, they are really sluggish and boring. This upgrade makes the car peppy and fun to drive. The ecu program can at will be switched between stock mode, valet mode, and 1+ upgrade. The APR website is below for more information. The car also comes with two 450 watt Pioneer sub-woofer´s and a Jensen 300 watt amp. It sounds great with the stock 6 CD changer. I put a new clutch and flywheel in it about 2,000 miles ago(car has 162,000 miles), a whole rear brake job (calipers, rotors, pads), a new front right cv joint, a new oil pan(which includes oil change, of course), a new battery about a month ago(the battery is still draining, I am unsure of why, but battery is good), has a cold air intake( also have the oem intake included), new wheel bearing on drivers side rear wheel... All of this has been done in the past 6 months. I went off the road and hit a rock around three weeks ago, not a large rock, about 6x8 inches roughly. I hit it with the front right tire and bent the rim in(currently on a donut) and the front end is out of whack, I got a quote for $500 dollars on the front end which included a new front right wheel bearing, a ball joint, a control arm. I also put a whole in the fuel tank, it is currently leaking gas, I found a junk yard that has a fuel tank for $200 dollars in Pepperell. Also the exhaust manifold bolts are broken going into the exhaust pipe, NOT the head, which causes it to be loud, it however passed Ma inspection in January, so it is good for another 9 months. I decided to call it quits on the car and get rid of it, it is a Quattro and is great in the snow, needs two new rear tires, and two new front tires, including one rim, probably around $50 dollars at a junk yard. We can start it and you can drive it, just not too far cause of the fuel tank, if you really want you can drive it home, I would probably tow it, but I drove it from the mechanics like this and was fine. Details: I am selling a 1996 Audi A4 5-speed 2.8 V6 Quattro. It is green with beige, heated, leather interior. There is absolutly NO RUST on this car. I have always kept it in a heated garage. There is a small rip in the drivers seat, but besides that no tears or rips. I have owned this car just over 2 years; it is in great shape and has had a lot of work done to it, I still have all the receipts. This includes but is not limited to full timingbelt, waterpump, thermostat and seal, serpentine belt and oil pressure switch done at 168,XXX. Full set of axles repaird, 4 tires still with 85% tread to them, control arms, tie rods, sway bars with links front and rear and wheel bearings done at 183,XXX. New powerstearing pump, new flex pipes and partial exhaust repair. I have put new breaks all around with slotted drilled rotors and ceramic pads. As you can see from the pictires I have high intensity halogen fog lights. Also has a full K&N cold air intake with flashed ECU to accompany it. I have a S4 3-spoke stearing wheel installed. Always done Full Synthetic Oil change with K&N oil filter every 3000 miles. The Car now has 198,XXX miles on it with a couple small dents in the passenger side and the headliner is begining to sag. These are the ONLY problems with the car. No lights on the dash, and this car still runs strong and the clutch pulls hard. I hate to have to sell this car but I am going to be living at college next year and could use the money. I have loved this car and it has never let me down. Rare Sport interior package (´silver´ Alcantara inserts in the Nappa Silk leather, aluminum trim), Premium package (sunroof, etc), Cold weather package (heated seats, washer nozzles, and door locks, ski sack), and Bose stereo.97k miles, the majority of which are highway. The only issues are these:- Driver´s side rear view mirror glass is distorted- Pixels are missing from the lower portion of the Driver Information System display- Scuffs on the rear bumper cover - Driver´s side fog light lens is cracked (but sealed from moisture)Other than that, this car is in exceptional mechanical and very good cosmetic condition. It has been garaged since new, and properly maintained by two adult professional Audi enthusiasts. I am the second owner. The 1st was a retired engineer; he bought it new at age 58, and sold it to me at age 68. I bought it 2 ½ years ago at 67k miles, and am in my mid 40´s. I have all the documentation for any maintenance/repair/modification work performed since new. The following was performed at Ira Audi:Full timing belt service - early, at 54k Full brake service (pads/rotors, fluid change) at 65kI had the 80k service (air and cabin filters, spark plugs) performed at 82k.This car should not require any significant scheduled maintenance for a good amount of miles. Currently has C5 S6 17X8 ET35 Avus wheels (hard to find) in excellent condition with P235/45/17 Pirelli PZero Nero All-season tires mounted. Tires are at about 30k miles; with 5/32´ tread depth remaining, and even wear on each.The previous owner had a Borla stainless steel exhaust installed; the only modification he had performed. I have since (early 2010) had the following done:Milltek 200 cell downpipes ($2000 installed)APR 93 octane program ECU reflash ($600)JHM solid short throw shifter ($250)710N diverter valves ($86)Samco F-hose and Throttle Body Boot ($106)Front windshield replaced in May 2010, and new Sears DieHard Gold Group 48 battery installed in Dec 2011.Very quick, but still gets 26-27 mpg on the highway. Excellent year-round, all weather high performance car for New England. I had searched for a year before finding a B5 S4 in this condition. At this point most have 30% greater miles and/or have fallen into the hands of someone who has either neglected it, abused it, or both. Personally, I´d never risk buying one of these from a dealer or 2nd, 3rd, etc owner who could not provide 100% of the documented service history. Blackstone oil analysis performed in Sep 2010 at 80k miles, with 100% positive results; the data sheet can be shown to prospective buyers. To duplicate this particular car, you would have to find a choice original specimen with similar mileage, no repairs required, with it´s maintenance up to date, and add the $3000 worth of modifications ( and rare wheels) from there. I´ve tried to be as informative as possible here to save us all time; so serious inquiries only, please. And if you don´t really have the money or are looking for a handout, please refrain -- this isn´t the car for you.
