Just had a complete engine rebuild including new piston rings honed cylinders, new piston rod bearings and crank bearings,,,front and rear engine seals, clutch disc is new..,both drive axels tie rods ball joints..swaybar links and lower control arms , full valve job ,new oil pump and timing belt tensioner and new cam chain tensioner turbo was also rebuilt while i was in there, new windshield also. AC compressor is new also and new front and rear brake pads with fresh 4 wheel alignment and 4 wheel balancing. runs fantastic! miles are at 227,000 yes it has some miles but has had major work done and is worth every single penny, you wont find a better used car. slight wear and tear on drivers seat. has heated front seats, Front bumper has no chips or rock damage. there are very few imperfections with the paint. overall exellent condition. gets 27MPG but more on hway. Bose stereo with 6 disc changer, cassette also. convertable has black boot included this usually gets lost. Details: Audi A4 1999.5 volcano black 1.8 liter turbo automatic transmission with all wheel drive Quattro and ecru (tan) leather interior (162,000 miles). I have the original window sticker and title in hand for the vehicle. The car was originally bought and driven in Florida, I´m the 2nd owner of the car and I´ve had it here in Raleigh since 2004. The vehicle came from the factory with the sport package which includes fog lights, 16´ wheels, tuned suspension and steering wheel paddle transmission shifting. It features some additional add-ons including 20% ceramic 3M window tinting (installed by a former Formula 1 employee), oem Audi all weather rubber floor mats, python remote start / keyless entry, and a oem Audi RS4 grille. Its been debadged on the back except for the 4 Audi rings above the license plate. One piece headlights have been cleared out and there is no amber bulbs or pieces of plastic. The rear tail lights have the dual fog mod done so you can press a button on the dash to cut those on when necessary. Tires have at least 60-75% of tread remaining. Recently a brand new battery, windshield wiper blades, and headlight bulbs have been installed. The car right now is in running order and can get you from point A to point B. It does have some electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic issues. The transmission is operational but it is shifting hard. The engine has a head gasket oil leak which requires checking the oil levels occasionally. Electrically the vehicle does not have ABS or Airbags operating due to those modules going bad. Sunroof is not operational and has been sealed to prevent leaks. Front bumper has a few scratches and is missing 2 small front grille pieces around the right front fog light. Drivers´ side front seat leather needs to be recovered where your butt sits. Headliner has been recovered along with matching black fabric on the a-pillars. It gets fairly decent gas mileage averaging between 21-28mpg but does require you run premium w/the turbo. Price is $2,600, will also consider trading for a truck with a covered or possibly other trades. Please only e-mail if you are a serious buyer. The car has 185K miles on the clock, but is very reliable. The engine idles smooth and powers down the highway with ease. The transmission shifts smooth without hesitation or slipping. The heat and AC also work as they should. It has a custom side exit exhaust that really gives this Audi a tone like no other. Turbo spool is very audible with this setup ☺Last fillup we averaged 24.5 MPG. It has a fresh oil change (5w30 Mobil1 + K&N Oil Filter), new rear brake pads, new driveshaft and ignition module. This is a fast, great, fun car that will bring many more years of enjoyment, but keep in mind it is 12 years old and shows its age in various places. The rear needs a little work but has been this way for years. Converter. There is a very small coolant leak coming from the Aux water pump hose. It needs a few ounces weekly. It doesn´t cause it to overheat or anything. There is a small ´wrinkle´ in the spare tire well. Frame is straight. . ..been on alignment machine. Drivers seat has small tear and some wear. Tires are decent, suspension is good. It has 185K so it could use some service, but it runs great as it is.Car is in Danville, Va 2541Buyer must make pickup arrangments. I will not deliver the car. It is perfectly drivable.
