The car was in perfect condition and came out of an 18 month lease with 22k miles. Since then, I´ve commuted mostly highway miles from Silver Spring to Columbia, MD 5 days a week. The car has been garage kept since I´ve had it and has not spent more than two weeks parked outside during its life. There has never been any work required to repair the chassis of the car as thus far it has been accident free. Cost roughly 1400.Extras:DEFCON v1 3.2 L rear valanceDrilled Rotors with Ceramic Pads ---extra bite and no brake dustNotes:Car burns regular amount of oil for turbocharged engine (1 quart every 3k). Car has small coolant ´leak´ (not leak, but evaporation type of leak). I would say it consumes a quart of coolant over 2k miles. Car has a few dings on door, crack to front bumper which is functionally fixed with a tight stitch.Interior is in good condition. Seats looks good for 175k miles.Car has an aftermarket tuning chip from Dahlback Motorsport. Rated 263HP and 273TQ. I drive it 100 miles a day from Owings Mills to Bethesda. I just got back from a trip to Vermont, Pittsburgh, and Seven Springs 3 weekends in a row. I would drive the car anywhere, especially because of the all wheel drive. I almost want to keep this solely as my winter vehicle. It literally walks all over the snow. Last blizzard, I drove to the mountains for snowboarding while peoples huge trucks were stuck on the road. Awesome all wheel drive system. Period.Obviously car is not perfect. I can entertain only the following trades: ultra clean mk1/mk2 VW mk4 VW diesel. I would love a clean clean clean 1984 rabbit caddy. Details: 1999 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8 V6, Silver, 5-speed manual transmission, Black leather interior, sliding sunroof, 155,000 miles. The body and interior are great. The suspension is a new $2,000 set up with all new front end (all 8 control arms) and four new shocks. The tires / wheels are realtively new (perhaps 10,000 miles or so). The car needs exhaust work and I think the brake control modual needs to be rebuilt (not very expensive and easy to remove and have reconditioned). The car will not pass DC inspection until those two things are done. Other than that, the car is fundamentally very good. - I own three cars in DC and can´t afford the parking tickets.Reasonable offers will be considered.
