Details: This is a long post so be patient. First I will tell why I´m selling the car. Me and my sister live in the same house and we both have our own cars. But she is always flying for work and uses her car sparingly so we decided to only keep one car between us and I´m selling my car which is older. I am an Audi enthusiast and am generally very passionate about my cars and their upkeep so i´m giving the following detailsNow for the specifications:Car has done ~99,950 miles as of this post.It is Front wheel drive (not Quattro). Transmission is not automatic it is Multitronic (CVT) (-this is a different type of automatic, much smoother and more fuel efficient; look it up if you don´t know)Engine is 3.0 V6 and the model code is B6This is the PREMIUM model. I have the original spec sheet it has all the possible options (heated seats, auto day/night exterior/interior heated mirrors with backup assistance levelling, BOSE PREMIUM Sound package and I have installed a Denson iPod integration kit, power seats with 4 way lumbar on both sides). You name it and its on there except perhaps SAT NAV.I have a FULL maintenance record. (The previous owner left his maintenance records too). Everything that has been worked on in my time has a record. I will give you some of the highlights:The timing belt series of repairs have been performed at ~86,000 miles (These repairs include a multitude of things and are a expected and expensive maintenance after around 80k miles)The transmission on these cars are delicate. As a precaution I got Transmission fluid replaced (~93,000 miles) and checked for grind to be sure the transmission is in good conditionEngine oil replacement has been done periodically and last one was done at ~99,000 miles. I use ONLY Castrol 5W-40 Full Synthetic with a VW 502 certificate. This is important if you don´t want sludge build up in your engineThere are 2 BRAND NEW tires in the front, replaced about 3 months back (have a record for that too). The rear tires might need replacement in about 10-15k miles.Brake fluid was replaced a week back and is now good for 2 yearsNow for some problems in the car:The rear left window doesn´t work (was so ever since I bought it). I have researched and seen it is a fairly common problem in VW/Audi but never thought of replacing it cuz it never hindered my useThere is only one keySometimes the engine immobilizer doesn´t recognize the key and starts flashing. Hence the engine starts and immediately turns off (standard ECU protocol). However if you remove the key and put it back in the immobilizer recognizes it in the 2nd-3rd try. This wasn´t really annoyance for me to drop money to fix (Forgot to mention, its been so since I bought the car).The Airbag light is on. This was on since I bought the car and I got it checked by my mechanic the airbags are fine. The car had an accident by the first owner in 2003 and I believe the light has just been on since then.The brake pad warning light is on. This has been on for a while, and I have got the brakes checked twice by a mechanic. The pads are in great condition I think only the sensor on the brakes (that tells if the brakes are worn) have gone bad.Please understand the age and mileage of the car and certain normal cosmetic wear and tear is expected. PLEASE...DO NOT....WASTE...MY...TIME .....contact me only if you are interested. I am willing to negotiate marginally based on your reasoning but don´t expect me to go down to $4-5k. I have maintained the car very well and treated it with utmost care. A lot of expensive maintenance has already been performed as I have stated. Also please understand that this is a German vehicle and know what German vehicles are about. They ain´t the cheapest to maintain n stuff. Details: This was my wife´s first car back in 1989. She is the second owner. The car treated her right for many years and just needs some TLC to be a great little car for an Audi fan. It currently will not turn over. I think it is fuel delivery related so maybe a new fuel pump or something? No time to investigate. I had the car resprayed the original color 4 years ago as well as a major tune up, exhaust and tires, but it has maybe only driven 75 miles since that tune up and needs some love. The mechanic said it will need a throw out bearing for the clutch soon as well. Car was always serviced at Audi specialist while she drove the car for 9 years.
