Details: I have been traveling for several weeks and my wife deleted all messages related to this car, so I am reposting.This was the most fun car to drive I´ve ever owned. Luxurious yet plenty of horsepower and acceleration. Plenty of legroom front and back, big trunk with ski boot into passenger compartment. All seats heated. Unfortunately the engine seized shortly after I went in for regular maintenance and had the timing belt replaced. A8Ls of this model year are selling for $17-19k and you can get a good 4.2 Quatro engine for these for $3000-$3500. I just don´t want to do it. New tires, new brakes, new timing belt. Body is in great shape. Had Sirius XM radio. There are a couple interior cosmetic issues like a loose ash tray that should be easy to fix. Call 269-349-1283 to set up an appointment. Do some research and you´ll find it´s easily a 300 dollar repair minimum, or a new one for $1,250.Basically all the major stuff has been serviced to go on for just about ever. Most of this was performed by my cousin (a certified mechanic, who is also storing the car for me). I have him work on all of my cars.Now the problems:It makes a rattling noise, which is the cause of light pressure plate. It has no negative effects on the performance of the car, and is a pretty easy fix, but I would rather sell it instead of investing more money.Also the cassette player has a permanently stuck cassette in it. However, the good news is that it is attached to an auxiliary cord, so it can be used for MP3 players just fine. Finally the back right caliper tends to stick, since it has been sitting all winter so I would get that serviced. About 150 bucks including labor.This car is not in MINT condition, so don´t come with that expectation. It is a good to very good condition. It has 11 years and 150,000 miles on it, so it will have some dings and minor scratches which come with time as well as some wear, but nothing big and noticeable. The car is being sold AS IS.It is a blast to drive in the summer, and excellent traction in the winter (is garage kept in the winter when not being driven). One of the funnest cars I have ever driven. I am selling because I have recently bought a new truck and motorcycle, so I have my summer fun and winter driver. Details: Here is my Audi that I have owned and loved for nearly 2 years now. This is my second Audi. It´s fully loaded with every option (Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Ultra Sport Package, Infotainment Package, Lighting Package, BOSE Premium Sound System, Auto-Leveling Xenon headlamps, etc) except navigation and just rolled over 118,XXX on the odometer. The only reason I´m selling it is because I am going to be purchasing a newer S4 with a manual transmission. The car drives and rides flawlessly, is always garage kept, hand wash/waxed and looks great! It has been fully maintained at Maple Hill Audi in Kalamazoo (with records on file). I have put allot of time and money into ensuring this car remains in proper working order as well as performance. I just had a new turbo installed with new oil lines ($2,200), performance tuned (all programs - Stock, 91 Octane, 93 Octane, Valet, Password Lockout, Throttle Body Alignment, the works) by APR ($1,300) increasing hp, torque and throttle response significantly, new 50,000 mile warrantied Continental tires with only 2,000 miles on them ($900), new alternator ($737), and new high performance brakes and rotors just installed. The timing belt and water pump are all set until 150,000 miles (which saves you $800). I also have a transferable bumper-to-bump warranty which covers all components ($1,555) with the contract available!!! Trust me, on these cars, this is a MUST HAVE! I have it pictured so you can see that everything is covered. This is the first winter this car has seen, and it hasn´t even been much of a winter! Car comes with all three original keys, including the valet key, and a clean title. Serious inquiries only! If you´re looking for a cheaper, base model A4, please don´t waste my time and yours. This car is worth allot more and I am in no hurry to sell. You can call to come see the car, but no test drives unless you have cash in-hand. The check engine light is on due to 2 oxygen sensor. There are two vacuum hosesthat are visibly disconnected which could also be throwing off the codes but autozone said oxygen sensor. you will also needto replace the drivers side rear bering which is 14.99 + tax at autozone.
