These components are a part of the Secondary Air System. When it is cold, this system pumps air around the engine into the exhaust, which warms the catalytic converter and improves EMISSIONS. This DOES NOT affect the engine!! Details: This is the V6 All wheel drive wagon. Loaded up with options including leather heated seats. I had the entire cooling system replaced last year and it´s still under warranty from Springdale Auto. In addition I had the timing belt replaced and all 100K service work done at the same time. It does need a sensor replaced that was quoted to me for 185 from Springdale and can be done at anytime and I have been driving it without issue. Currently has 108K miles and is ready for another 100K. The roof rack has been transferred to my new vehicle and will not be included.Reply to this email if you would like to come and have a look.
