I have receipts for the parts.car runs greats. i recently changed the vacuum lines and cleaned the MAF and IAT sensors and after reassembly the CEL light came on saying that the o2 sensor on the right bank is out. $95 part but the car runs fine without it. recently replaced the headlight assemblies with newer model projectors because they were yellowing, replaced the door lock actuator, installed a short ram intake and a high flow muffler and resonator. there is a bit of damage to the front left of the car but it does not affect the drivability.I currently have blizzak ws60s on the car and an extra set of rims that have 2 good summer tires that will also go with the car.Unfortunately i have to get rid of the car to stay in school, I am motivated to sale. NADA and KBB both price the car at $4800, i am asking $4000. Details: The perfect Colorado car. This is a well maintained Audi S4 tiptronic. 2.7t V6 biturbo engine with 250 hp. Quattro all-wheel drive system. Black exterior with silver leather interior. Though I am tearing up as I write this, I have four cars and two drivers in my household, so at least one has to go. I have listed this and my 1999 Lexus LX470 for sale. I will keep whichever car does not get sold. It is priced slightly over blue-book, but I am reasonable on the price. The Audi has just over 87,000 miles on the odometer. The timing belt was replaced at 60,000 miles. Oil changes with Mobil 1 full synthetic at every 3,000 miles. I am the second owner of this car. I have owned it since it had 13,000 miles. A woman in Denver owned it before me and only drove it occasionally. I have the original sale paperwork and brochure. I have upgraded the car for longevity and entertainment. As to longevity, the K03 turbos that came with the S4 have a reputation as being prone to early failure. My take is that the reputation is not entirely deserved in that many turbo failures are the result of chipping the ECU to get more horsepower from the car than what the turbos are designed to handle. To my knowledge, this car has never been chipped. It also appears that the throttle body boot (´TBB´), the diverters and the f-hose were common failure points that damaged the turbos prematurely. Since this care is the later-production 2001 S4 (´2001.5´ in enthusiast parlance), my understanding is that it does not have an f-hose. I have replaced and upgraded the TBB and diverters. Upgrades include: 1. Pioneer AVH-P4400BH head unit. This is a 7´ touchscreen unit with built in Bluetooth for hands-free mobile phone use and music streaming. I have put in an XM satellite stereo and antenna as well. 2. Audi 710N diverter valves (these are the diverter valves from the Audi TT, which were a more robust design (metal) than the OEM diverter valves (plastic)).3. Silicone throttle body boot, which is more resistant to chemicals and vibration than the OEM TBB. 4. Heavy duty Meyle front suspension. This is an all-aluminum suspension upgrade kit that resolved the weak links (literally) in the OEM suspension.5. Satin black 18´ Avus wheels and center caps. The OEM versions were 17´ and silver. 6. Clear bra and 3M headlight and driving light protectors. My service records will show the car is well maintained. I just replaced the rear brakes and rotors. The car has a new Interstate battery and relatively new tires and front brakes. No check engine lights are on. The gauge cluster was replaced under warranty and my expectation is that you will not have further gauge cluster pixel problems, which is a common problem with this generation of Audis. Anything that was broken, I fixed. Sorry, no checks and no shipping. No dealers please. I will meet you at your bank if you end up buying the car to close. Valid driver´s license, proof of insurance, and other form of ID required for test drive. Will make available for a mechanical inspection at your expense prior to closing. If you haven´t owned a german car with the Quattro all wheel drive system, you are missing out. Its Silver in color with black, clean leather inside, no rips or tears. I clean the car as much as I can with the Colorado weather permitting. Installed is the K40 built in radar system. The front radar is integrated into the license holder, it has saved me a few times. The fuel economy is rated at about 18 city and 24-26 Highway.The Good: Very low mileage for the year (about 6500 a year). Regular Maintenance has been taken care of. I use Synthetic oil as well. The Not As Good: Will need new tires. I do have credit at Discount Tire on the tread warranty so the new owner and I can use that to purchase the tires they want on it. A little curb rash on the rims but not very bad.I am a very busy person but if you would like, we can meet up when convenient for both parties and look at the car.
