The A6 is a little larger than an A4 or VW (Volkswagen) Passat. A little smaller than the A8, but there is no A8 available as a wagon.At 78,018 miles the car was able to get a new engine. The number 1 cylinder had a problem, and the warranty and an Audi dealership decided the best route to fix was a new engine. It is brand new, not rebuilt, from Audi factory. New engine assembly, timing belt kit, water pump, etc. The bill was $9,913.94 and was just done December 2011. There is 80,000 miles on it now. The engine has had one synthetic oil change at 1000 miles. The engine has never seen any partial ethanol fuel, only high octane full gasoline! Details: I have a nice clean ´94 Audi for sale with only 153,671 miles. It is the awesome ´Pearl´ color. This is 6 cylinder with automatic transmission. The AC works great, and I replaced the heater core some 3 or 4 years ago so the heater works great too! Front tires replaced last fall and have less than 3000 miles on them, rears are about 50% or better. Full leather seats all around. Power front seats, yes, both front seats are powered and HEATED too!! No tears in the seats, and looked to be a non-smoking car when we purchased it some 7+ years ago. NO we are not smokes either. Nice factory am/fm cassette radio. Power windows, Power locks, Power steering, Power brakes, Power mirrors, heated side mirrors. This is important to(to me anyway) the rear seats fold down so you can get storage all the way to the trunk. We have been using this car as our winter car the past several years, the reason the miles are so low, but have gotten another vehicle for this past winter, so this is the reason we are putting it up for sale. This is about a sporty as you can get in a sedan, and is very fun to drive. But we really do not have to sell this car, as it is a wonderful car to drive, and handles the snow and ice way better than our toyota´s!{:) PLEASE no low-ballers! This is a really nice car for the $$, and we are NOT in a must sell situation. Details: I have a 1999 Audi A6 For Sale or Trade. It has a 2.8L V-6 Engine with an Automatic Transmission which I generally use in Auto Stick because my last car was manual. It is the Quattro edition which means it´s All Wheel Drive. It comes with Black Leather Interior, Heated Power Seats, Power Moonroof, 6 Disc Cd, Dual Climate Control and much more. It has 203,000 miles on it which is low considering how well an Audi is built versus the competitor´s car. The engine and transmission run and drive great. There seems to be a small hole in the exhaust, but can only be heard after 4,000 rpm´s. I checked it out and it seems to read catylac converter and also an O2 Sensor, so together about $100. Also has a Large trunk, and it´s all wired up for a system to be installed. The car is tinted but I am thinking about taking down the front 2 windows. Down falls, needs a new left front blinker bulb, the daytime running lights need to be replaced. There are a few exterior blemishes but no dents, just scratches here and there with minimal rust. On the interior the back right seat seam has come undone and also front passenger seat seam a little bit but isn´t too noticeable (last owners). The rims in the picture are ASA 15-16´ I believe with 85% tire tread all around. This is a great family car but is a little too large for me. I´m looking to sell it for $3,000 firm. I will also consider trades, I´m looking to get a rocket preferably a 99-05 R6, 2000-2005 CBR 600, 97-2005 GSX-R 600 or 750, 98-06 Ninja zx6 or 636, 99-07 Triumph Daytona 675. The interior of this car is in great shape with no rips or tears in the supple black leather, there are no flaws in the carpeting and all of the mats are there. All of the windows in the car have been tinted to a legal 35% which provides excellent shade and protection from the sun as well giving it a great look. This car also has the rear passenger door and rear window sunscreens built in. The long wheelbase of this car as well as the adjustable air suspension provides a fantastic ride at any speed on any road. Quattro (All Wheel Drive) makes this car great in any weather and any conditions. The headlights are dual Xenon HID and provide great lighting on the darkest of nights. This car also has the dual climate control as well as all heated seats, and front cooled seats. There are drop down vanity mirrors both front and back. The XM Radio module has been added to this car as well as an iPod plug done by a local professional, also has a six disc changer located in the glove box. The tires are almost new (5k on them) and I have a second set of tires and rims. There is a full size spare with matching rim as well. The rims have some minor scrapes from parking but are in otherwise great condition. The exterior of this car is also in great condition. The car was recently detailed in and out and shows like new. The paint has a great shine to it. There are as to be expected some road chips on the front due to the dust and dirt on our lovely highways but nothing out of the ordinary for a car with this mileage. I still get many compliments daily on the look and ride of this car.
