Details: For sale is my Audi A6. I picked this car up last year November, as my previous vehicle took an unexpected turn for the worst. I wanted to grab this vehicle to keep it until around now (great winter vehicle, truly a blast to drive in the snow) and move on to something I am more enthused to drive. I have recently replaced the cooling system, the timing belt (with tensoners and pulleys should be done every 100k so that´s good to go), as well as the left front axle with receipts for the work, the tires have been replaced as well and under warranty. I have record of all the vehicle service for the past 5 years before I purchased the car from the 2nd owner (I think) and I would be the 3rd owner. I love the car but being an automatic, it´s something I can´t continue to invest in if my heart isn´t in the vehicle especially at the pricey labor and replacement costs for Audi.As far as the bad, the car has a slight oil leak/oil burn, (about 1 quart per 2000 miles). The cassette tape deck also does not work. The console display does not always work. Details: Up for sale is a 1999 Audi A6 2.8 Quattro. White exterior, maroon/black interior. Nice car inside and out. Only two problems with the appearance which are a tear in the drivers seat and a spot on the drivers door where some of the paint chipped off. Looks like the spot began to rust but there are no other spots on the car that are rusting whatsoever. You can the see the spot in the picture. Has 184000 miles on it. Dad is a mechanic so car is checked over regularly. 5W30 synthetic oil changes every 4000 miles, new left and right front axles, new drivers outer tie rod, recent muffler work to fix up a leaky flex pipe, brought in to eurotech often also to be checked over. Airbag light is on but just a bad sensor. Car is loaded for a 1999, computer that tells you when you need to get your next inspection and oil changes, temperature, miles to empty, trip, oil temp, mpg, and timer that tells you how long you have been driving. Front and rear heated seats. $600 New black O.Z rims and it also still has the original audi rims as well with the car. Bose sound system all through the car, with a bose sub and amp in a compartment in the trunk. Car runs and drives perfectly and is very smooth. Also had a front end alignment done recently as well. Has sensors on the brake pads so you know when you need new brake pads. Auto dimming mirrors and rearview mirrors. KBB put the car at 5200 in good condition and i went a 1000 less due to the rust spot and rip in the seat. Tiptronic as well which gives it more of a sport feel if you need it. Great car. The owners before me and myself have kept good records of any maintenance done.The original engine was replaced because the timing belt went out and messed up the engine beyond repairable. (The odometer had 166,00 on it at the time)It was replaced with an engine out of an 02 Audi that had 64,000 miles on it I think. I would have to refer to the paperwork to make sure.The engine it has now has about 80,000 and the body has about 176,xxx miles on it. You would never know that by looking at it though because its so clean!I am asking a fair price for this car considering everything that has been done to it. I am open to reasonable offers. It´s fully loaded with every option (Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Ultra Sport Package, Infotainment Package, Lighting Package, BOSE Premium Sound System, Auto-Leveling Xenon headlamps, etc) except navigation and just rolled over 118,XXX on the odometer. The only reason I´m selling it is because I am going to be purchasing a newer S4 with a manual transmission. The car drives and rides flawlessly, is always garage kept, hand wash/waxed and looks great! It has been fully maintained at Maple Hill Audi in Kalamazoo (with records on file). I have put allot of time and money into ensuring this car remains in proper working order as well as performance. I just had a new turbo installed with new oil lines ($2,200), performance tuned (all programs - Stock, 91 Octane, 93 Octane, Valet, Password Lockout, Throttle Body Alignment, the works) by APR ($1,300) increasing hp, torque and throttle response significantly, new 50,000 mile warrantied Continental tires with only 2,000 miles on them ($900), new alternator ($737), and new high performance brakes and rotors just installed. The timing belt and water pump are all set until 150,000 miles (which saves you $800). I also have a transferable bumper-to-bump warranty which covers all components ($1,555) with the contract available!!! Trust me, on these cars, this is a MUST HAVE! I have it pictured so you can see that everything is covered. This is the first winter this car has seen, and it hasn´t even been much of a winter! Car comes with all three original keys, including the valet key, and a clean title. Serious inquiries only! If you´re looking for a cheaper, base model A4, please don´t waste my time and yours. This car is worth allot more and I am in no hurry to sell. You can call to come see the car, but no test drives unless you have cash in-hand. It never bothered me to get it replaced (50$ at LKQ). The car KBBs pretty high but because of the things listed I am asking 8500 OBO. The fixes should be pretty simple and easy.
